Bed Rails

Unlike a regular metal bed frame, which fully supports your mattress and box spring, bed rails are designed to be used with a headboard and footboard. Made from angle iron, they attach your headboard to your footboard, creating a foundation of support for your bed. Furthermore, assembly couldn't be easier with our products.

At The Sleep Shop, we offer bed rails for every bed size, in addition to replacement wood rails, and bed frames designed for use with headboards and footboards. At all sizes, you can choose from hook-on or bolt-on rails, depending on how you need to attach your headboard and footboard. All of them are built to be as sturdy as a regular bed frame.

Twin, twin XL, and full-sized mattresses can be supported with a simple set of rails, and they don't require additional center supports. Again, these are available in both hook-on and bolt-on styles, so they can be used with any headboard. We also offer a headboard-footboard frame for full and twin beds. These frames are the best of both a metal bed frame and a set of rails. There is not a rail frame available for twin XL mattresses, but you can buy extra support beams from the Sleep Shop for added comfort and strength.

Queen and king rails include additional supports to ensure your comfort. For a queen bed, you can choose between one center support beam, three support beams, or a rail frame with six supportive legs. The six legs offer the highest level of support, but all three options are supportive and easy to assemble.

For king beds, a frame with six legs offers all the support you will need. The legs are also adjustable, so you can change the height of your bed. Replacement Wood Bed Rails work well with California king mattresses when used with a set of support beams, which we also offer. Bed Beam supports can be adjusted from 5 to 18 inches, giving you ultimate control of your bed's height. These supports can be purchased for any bed size (except twin) so you can also lend extra support to your full, queen, or king size bedding.
