Benefits of Center Supports for Metal Side Rails

Generally, if you refer to the warranty card provided by the manufacturer of your mattress and box spring set, you will see that most mattress manufacturers do not require extra center support on twin, twin XL, and full size beds. However, you might choose to add a center support or supports to your bed if you have very heavy bedding or just feel like you might need extra support. It sure can't hurt to add center support to your bed and it may make your mattress set last longer.

Comments: The bed supports are very sturdy and will work well. Pictures on the web site could have been better. I have metal side rails, but these supports did not fit on my metal rails. I needed to have a friend modify them. It would have been helpful to see how they fit on the rails.

Comments: I used these to provide additional support for a King metal bed frame. Each twin support fit on either side of the frame and worked great for our new heavier mattress and box springs. Easy to install and level with the adjustable legs.
