Why we like (but don't love) Adjustable High Riser Bed Casters - Probably the best thing about our new adjustable high rise bed casters is the fact that they are adjustable. When we tried them on bed frames in our store, they adjusted from 11" in height to 12-1/4" in height. This is nice if you are trying to get just the right height for a bed skirt, storage box, headboard, etc.
- Some customers have really liked this product (that's why we're keeping it on our website), BUT we get a lot of complaints about it being wobbly. If you choose this product, just understand that your frame may be wobbly. This is especially true when customers have the item adjusted to its highest point. Another factor seems to be that the plastic insert does not fit snug enough. If this is the case, you can wrap each insert with a little aluminum foil, and this usually helps. FYI: Our other bed riser system is MUCH STURDIER. But it is not adjustable like this one.
- We also like how the bed risers work with most any bed frame legs. The package comes with 2 bed riser legs with roller and 2 plastic socket inserts that fit into most bed frame legs. If your bed frame has rug roller wheels or casters now that resemble these wheels, this product will probably work with your bed frame. We have tested this product with our bed frames and they fit well, but we cannot guarantee that this product will fit your current bed frame.
- Another nice feature is the ball bearing construction and swiveling casters which allow for easy mobility in your bedroom.
- Common Sense Disclaimer: The additional height of your bed frame may increase the torque or pressure on the bed frame legs. Use caution when moving your bed frame or adjusting its position in your room. Failing to do so may weaken the bed frame legs, causing them to buckle. Additionally, your children should refrain from jumping on the bed. If you anticipate this might happen, please do not order risers for your bed frame.
