The Acid Reflux Bed (AR Bed) by Medlift is designed specifically for the treatment of acid reflux. This bed elevates the upper body up to 8 degrees, while keeping the body straight. Keeping the body straight relieves pressure on the abdomen and stomach. Elevating the upper body prevents acid from moving up into the esophagus. The AR Bed Base is available in twin, full, queen, and dual king size. Since the Acid Reflux Bed Base does not bend in the center like most adjustable beds, you don't have to have a special mattress. You can use your own mattress with this bed base. |

Why we like the Sleep-Ezz Acid Reflux Bed Base This is the only bed base that we have found that is designed specifically for the treatment of Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD) or Acid Reflux Disease. Unlike other adjustable bed bases which bend in the middle, the Acid Reflux Bed Base reduces reflux by allowing the body to remain straight, while elevating the upper body up to 8 degrees. Keeping the body straight relieves pressure on the abdomen and stomach.
